Devices and Terms of Use
SMART LTE-M/Edge Single Country
This is the default service combined with the purchase of the Trackting SMART V3 Italy (Single Country) device.
1. Service Description
The User receives an alert if the vehicle is moved by third parties who do not possess the TAG key fob.
When the Tracker records unauthorized movement, the App enters an "alarm" state and, via push notification and/or phone call, alerts the user of the vehicle's unauthorized movement.
When the App enters "alarm" mode, the user can track the vehicle's movements. The geolocation system will send GPS coordinates at regular intervals.
The alarm state ceases upon its deactivation by bringing the TAG key fob close to the device.
2. Service Features:
The service includes 5 monthly alert calls to the user in case of improper movement of their vehicle. If there is no answer or the automatic voicemail is triggered, alarm calls are unlimited. Push notifications are always unlimited.
The service is free of charge.
The service has geographical coverage in the country chosen by the User during the initial pairing.
If the device has not sent any telemetry in the last 24 months, the internal eSIM will be deactivated and cannot be reactivated.
3. Specific Conditions of Service Use
The service's operation is guaranteed by the use of an integrated multi-operator eSIM contained within the GPS Tracker, which allows the Tracker to connect to the Internet. The Tracker connects to the cellular network CAT-M (LTE) or 2G (GSM). The SIM/eSIM connectivity service is provided by third parties. It is specified that, according to the terms of service of the connectivity service provider, if the eSIM does not send or receive data for a continuous period of at least 24 months, the SIM/eSIM itself may be deactivated without prior notice. Contact us for more information.
In addition to what is specified in the device's user manual and the App's License Agreement, Trackting undertakes to guarantee the provision of the service except in cases beyond its control. In particular, it may be impossible to provide the service if the mobile operator providing the eSIMs and device connectivity should fail or cease its activity, or modify roaming agreements in the country chosen by the User. Furthermore, it will be impossible to provide the service if the technology used by the cellular network to which the eSIM contained in the device connects, i.e., the CAT-M (LTE) or 2G (GSM) network, is discontinued.
4. Improper Use
The service is intended solely for "anti-theft" use: the tracker does not track the owner while driving, but exclusively tracks the thief in case of an alarm. Trackting wants to ensure that the service is used only for this purpose and in a lawful manner, in full respect of the User's and third parties' safety and privacy. Therefore, improper use of the device may result in the termination of the service. Trackting considers "improper" use of the system to be use that causes the device to switch to "alarm" mode for a total monthly time exceeding 10 hours.
